Responsibilities

SUMMARY:           

This position is responsible for leading data content support in management of product information and product line access for customer orders via Navision and our web front.  This position also works with cross functional teams in order to support the system data content requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participates in the item attribute management for key customer RFP implementations.
  • Participates in the management of the Data Content Access database
  • Partner with the Lead Pricing II in the management of supplier cost changes and updates
  • Participates in IT testing associated to Navision changes and enhancements 
  • Responsible for the system maintenance and management of the company overstock process in Navision
  • Responsible for managing the updates related to descriptions, class/group/type, web codes, stock and drop profit percentages, etc. provided by the Product Marketing team                  
  • Provides specialized reports and analysis related to the management of data in Navision 
  • Manages key system update processes and data ports, including the drop change and inactive with inventory processes
  • Responsible for the management of web codes and pids associated to the web catalog.  Also manages model numbers which are utilized by the web catalog
  • Responsible for the loading of alternates/substitutions as they are identified and approved by the Product Marketing team
  • Performs other duties as required

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Requires High School degree or equivalent. Two-year college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of four year’s work experience in Logistics, Marketing or Sales
  • Must possess sound analytical, decision making, multi-tasking, problem solving, and computer skills.
  • Data manipulation skills via Excel, Access and other system tools or applications are required.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the Company.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to add and subtract 10-digit numbers, to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

  • No major critical thinking required.  Work follows established job aids and business rules.  Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
