Responsibilities

SUMMARY:
Administrative support position responsible to provide exceptional support to assigned customer and work closely with Distribution Center management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Verifies and completes receiving reports by checking receiving document against purchase orders in the operation’s warehouse management system.
• Updates databases with inbound receiving discrepancies.
• Runs reports to verify shipping, receiving, and adjustment, transactions between WMS and ERP systems and performing corrections when necessary.
• Perform research and provide Proof of Delivery for customer inquiries.
• Contacts vendors to resolve invoice disputes.
• Update timecard entry to company database for Distribution Center personnel.
• Answers phone inquiries or forwards calls to the appropriate contact.
• May assist with New Hire onboarding and other HR administrative tasks.
• Other Duties: (In absence of DC Supervisor) Updates DC Daily Status Report. Assists in preparation of third-party billing. Processes Productivity Reports.

SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Adhere to, promote, and accept responsibility for compliance to Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGP Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.
• Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• High school or GED required. Associate degree preferred
• At least two years related office and/or customer service experience
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Microsoft Office Suite Programs and general computer proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to establish a strong rapport with customers

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the Company. Must have personable phone skills and the ability to work with various team members.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
• Ability to add and subtract 10 digit numbers, to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds; ability to perform these operations using units of American unites of measure and weight measurement.

REASONING ABILITY:
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
